Who is Lunch Moms Inc.?                                                             Lunch Moms Inc. was started by some Meadowvale Village moms who recognized how harried our daily lives have become. We believe that a nutritious lunch is a vital part of our children's day. Unfortunately, today's hectic lifestyles don't always allow that to happen. We decided to make a difference in our community. We've spent the last year researching the most effective way to bring this to our schools.

Who benefits from Lunch Moms Inc.?
Of course your children are our main goal. We developed a program where we all can benefit.

How does the school benefit?
A portion from each lunch goes directly back to the school. Just call it our way of saying thanks for allowing us to cater to your children.

What role does the school play?
We are committed to making this easy for your school to participate. We print all of the menus and bundle them by classroom so that the teachers can easily hand them out to the children. We pick the orders up, tally them all and follow up with the parents where necessary. It is that easy!!

How often can students order?
Your school decides how often each week the lunch program is available. We recomment one day per week to start. You can order as often as you'd like.

Do I have to order every day?
No, you do not have to order each day that the lunch program is offered in your school. You may order as many or as few times as you wish.

How far in advance can we order?
In order to guarantee fresh ingredients in our menu, we require all orders one month in advance.

Are you peanut free?
Yes we are 100% peanut and nut free.

What about nutrition?
All of our menus are prepared with the assistance of a registered nurse, referencing the Canada Food Guide. We've checked out other lunch programs and know our menu is superior.

How big are your portions?
All of our portions are very generous.  We offer two sizes on almost all of our meal combos to better serve all age groups of children served.  Small sizes are better suited for light lunch eaters while our larger sizes are better suited for heartier eaters.  Small entrées choices are generally half of our large size servings.

What if my child is sick?
We try to be as fair as we can with our parents. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

If you call us at 905-461-KIDS (5437) to let us know that your child will not be at school before 8am on the day the order is scheduled for delivery, we will give you a full credit to be used towards next month's orders. All cancellations after 8am on the day of delivery will not be credited. Please do not call the school.

Please leave us a message on our voicemail, 905-461-KIDS as soon as possible.

What happens on snow days?
“Snow Days” are defined as days where the school boards have cancelled all buses to your school.  Please check the appropriate box on order sheet to let us know your preference for your child’s lunch on those day. If the schools are open, Lunch Moms is open for business. If schools are closed, Lunch Moms is closed.  All orders will be credited in full.
